youth ministries: Events & opportunities

At SMCC, we want youth to feel welcome, loved, and part of something regardless of who they are. Students in middle school and high school go through the biggest transformation of their lives as they are approaching adulthood.  The youth ministry at San Marino Community Church serves to be a space where students can take a deep breath and learn who they are. The idea of calling youth group The Table comes out of the book of Luke, when Jesus talks about how everyone has a seat at the table, no matter what. Anyone and everyone is welcome. • youth fundraiser | Purchase flocking insurance & support summer programs by april 19

Lawns everywhere beware...all weather reports indicate that we will see flamingos (of the plastic kind) popping up all over the San Gabriel Valley in late April! Fortunately, our Community Church family and friends can purchase "Flocking Insurance" by April 19 to keep lawns free of these pink pests. If you're feeling crafty, you can even pay a little extra to send those flamingos to a friend's lawn! All proceeds will go towards our 2023 Youth Summer Getaway programming, sending more middle-schoolers to camp and more high-schoolers on a weekend retreat in Big Bear.

  • Youth Group, THe Table | Join us Wednesdays

    6:30-8:00 P.M. | Westminster hall

High schoolers and middle schoolers are invited to youth group on Wednesday nights to play games, win prizes, spend time together and learn more about the role Jesus has in their lives. Through discipleship and scripture they build relationships with each other & our volunteer leaders. With a deep focus on the character of Jesus, we hope that each student who joins leaves knowing they are loved by not only our people, but by the creator of the universe as well.
