DURING THIS TIME of POST-PANDEMIC RECOVERY giving of yourself is the greatest way to love God and to love your neighbor (our vision as a church). Our Mission Outreach and Board of Deacons organize ministry teams to provide care for the entire church family and to the community beyond, both locally and globally. These teams welcome participation from members and nonmembers alike.   • Presbyterian DISASTER assistance

    Presbyterian Disaster Assistance enables congregations and mission partners of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) to witness to the healing love of Christ through caring for communities adversely affected by crises and catastrophic events. Please join us in supporting Presbyterian Disaster Assistance. Go to pda.pcusa.org. If you'd rather give a check to SMCC, please include "PDA" in the memo line.  

  • Caring COOKS

    Cook and deliver meals for those in need in our local community. Contact Cathy Steward at caringcooks@smccpby.com if you are interested in helping or for more information about receiving meals.

  • local shelters need our support

    Help support Union Rescue Mission, homeless and at-risk-housing organizations in Pasadena and Los Angeles who provide for families that have been disproportionately affected by the economic downturn of this pandemic. You can donate diapers (all sizes), or write a check to "SMCC" with “URM” in the memo line. Please drop off donations at SMCC church office Monday - Friday, 10:00 am -2:00 pm.
