  • union station homeless services

On any given night . . .  66,436 people are homeless in Los Angeles County, about 4,500 people are homeless in San Gabriel Valley, nearly 530 people are homeless in the City of Pasadena.

This Father's Day give the gift of hope as we celebrate Father's Day on Sunday, June 19. Ordinary things - things that we often take for granted like a hot meal - can make a world of difference for those who have found themselves on the streets without a place to call home. SMCC Mission Outreach is partnering with Union Station Homeless Services to provide hot meals to its residents on the second Sunday of each month. Now you can give a gift from the heart and be a part of the homeless solution! For as little as $5 per meal you can buy dinner for someone in need. Click here to make a donation of any amount. If you would like a printable gift card to tell someone a gift of hope has been made in their honor, simply email HHorne@smccpby.com.

Be a part of the solution!  Help feed the homeless at Union Station in Pasadena!  From humble beginnings as a storefront hospitality center on Union Street, Union Station Homeless Services has grown into the San Gabriel Valley’s largest, most comprehensive agency serving homeless individuals and families. San Marino Community Church partners with Union Station in providing a hot meal to its residents on the second Sunday of every month.  Now is your chance to be a part of the homeless solution!  Grab members of your small group or friends in the courtyard and sign up to prepare and serve dinner to those less fortunate.

  • SEASONal: Christmas Mission Market

For the second year in a row, our Christmas Mission Market was essentially a “virtual” event. We missed the festivity of a live event with Mission partners, intriguing merchandise, and lots of animated conversation and learning. Yet we contributed to some very vital ministries around the globe. The funds we raised will help our mission partners and friends during continued challenging times. They are deeply grateful for our generous support – both financially and through our actions and prayers.

We raised $8,223 in cash gifts – almost 12% more than a very successful 2021 campaign! Our mission partners and friends are deeply grateful for your generosity, especially during these challenging times. Thank you to those who assisted with the table in the Courtyard and everyone who supported this endeavor with generous gifts! Your support funded education, medical and psycho-social care, economic development, and Christian education. Most of all we are providing hope for a brighter future for God’s children around the world.
