CONFIRMATION FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS  -  October through April

Sundays after worship, Upstairs Choir Room

Our confirmation class is primarily designed for high school freshman, but older students are more than welcome to join! We explore Christianity, and address challenging questions like: who is God? What is the Church? Where did the Church come from?  How do we live a life of purpose? Spending time together at these weekly sessions helps to build relationships and give students the tools they need to grow into adulthood. They participate in a weekend retreat, sit in on a Pastor Panel, go on a field trip, and at the end of the class create their Statement of Faith.

Confirmation is the process of a student becoming a member of the church,  though membership is not required, we ask that each student seriously considers taking the next step in joining their community of faith. Confirmands will be presented to the congregation at the end of class, when they can celebrate their full membership into the church. Contact Rev. Becca Bateman
