CHILDREN'S SPIRITUAL FORMATION

At San Marino Community Church we love children! On Sundays, and everyday, we seek to provide high quality care and to encourage children in their faith. We nurture a love for God's Word and a delight in worship. Interactive, engaging Sunday classes are at the heart of our ministry. Ages Kindergarten-5th Grade will attend worship with their parents then are dismissed to Sunday School. To register please fill out a 2020-2021 Participation Form. (Note: If you are attending for the first time, feel free to pick up a form on Sunday at the information booth.)
Preschool
Drop-Off 9:00 am in the Lower Courtyard where ages 3 to 5 years learn the stories of their faith through interactive storytelling. (10:00 am during summer schedule, Memorial through Labor Day)
After "Time with Children" in the Traditional 9:00 am worship service, kids are released to the following locations:
- Kindergartners meet upstairs at the Boardwalk where they learn Bible stories through multi-sensory activities
- 1st & 2nd Graders meet in the Tree House where they learn scripture through Godly Play and theme-related activities
- 3rd Graders meet in the Headquarters where they will dig into their very own Bible and notebook
- 4th & 5th Graders meet in the Clubhouse where they will challenge themselves with the meaning of faith in and out of church
Childcare available @ 7:30 am - Noon in the Lower Courtyard (8:30 during summer schedule)
Infant-18 months are cared for by our loving and dedicated nursery staff.Toddlers up to 3-years-old enjoy interactive nursery childcare, learning about their faith through song and story. It is here that we begin to live our our baptismal promises to these infants to raise them in the faith.
Special Children's Program Sundays, 10:00 am - Noon (11:00 am during summer schedule)
A special children’s program for all ages is also offered in the Lower Courtyard during Fellowship Time and adult classes.
