    July 26 - July 29, 9:00 am - 2:00 PM

    Welcome to Rocky Railway VBS - the summer event that puts kids on track for trusting Jesus! At Rocky Railway, kids explore how Jesus' power can pull us through when life feels like a valley or a mountain top. Through interactive storytelling, games, arts & crafts, music, mission stations and more, our team will help you roll along the railway with a week full of faith discoveries, and a track leading to learning more about Jesus' power.
     
    Please note some exciting new things this year!

    *Offering Monday -Thursday July 26th -29th
    *Offering longer days 9am - 2pm
    *Lunch will be provided!
    *For entering Kindergarten - entering 5th grade
    *Mixed age groups
    *Registration is limited  
    *We will be following the most current CDC guidelines at the time (including: Temperature taking, hand washing, masks, and individual food.)

    Cost: $100 per child (Early Bird Now –through July 14)
    Regular Registration  is $150 July 15 – July 23

    Elementary Small Groups After School Program for Kinder-2nd and 3rd-6th

    Connect in faith and fellowship!


    We will start together in large group warming up our bodies with worshipful movement, move into our hands-on project of the day, and then divide into our small groups to finish our projects, share highs and lows, and explore the day's faith-filled theme.

 CHILDREN'S SPIRITUAL FORMATION

(PHYSICAL GATHERINGS TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED DUE TO COVID)

At San Marino Community Church we love children! On Sundays, and everyday, we seek to provide high quality care and to encourage children in their faith. We nurture a love for God's Word and a delight in worship. Interactive, engaging Sunday  classes are at the heart of our ministry. Ages Kindergarten-5th Grade will attend worship with their parents then are dismissed to Sunday School. To register please fill out a 2020-2021 Participation Form.  (Note: If you are attending for the first time, feel free to pick up a form on Sunday at the information booth.)


Preschool

Drop-Off 9:00 am in the Lower Courtyard where ages 3 to 5 years learn the stories of their faith through interactive storytelling. (10:00 am during summer schedule, Memorial through Labor Day)


After "Time with Children" in the Traditional 9:00 am worship service, kids are released to the following locations:

  • Kindergartners meet upstairs at the Boardwalk where they learn Bible stories through multi-sensory activities
  • 1st & 2nd Graders meet in the Tree House where they learn scripture through Godly Play and theme-related activities
  • 3rd Graders meet in the Headquarters where they will dig into their very own Bible and notebook
  • 4th & 5th Graders meet in the Clubhouse where they will challenge themselves with the meaning of faith in and out of church


Childcare available @ 7:30 am - Noon in the Lower Courtyard (8:30 during summer schedule)

Infant-18 months are cared for by our loving and dedicated nursery staff.Toddlers up to 3-years-old enjoy interactive nursery childcare, learning about their faith through song and story.  It is here that we begin to live our our baptismal promises to these infants to raise them in the faith.


Special Children's Program Sundays, 10:00 am - Noon (11:00 am during summer schedule)

A special children’s program for all ages is also offered in the Lower Courtyard during Fellowship Time and adult classes.
