Cindy Jenkins and Lisa Link are creating a wonderful letter/photo/recipe book for Jeff and Lynn to take with them to Nashville, as a loving memory from SMCC. You may participate by providing a note of thanks, a special memory, a favorite recipe and/or a photo of yourself/family. Please email them as attachments to Cindy Jenkins by February 28, 2021. Thanks to the generosity of a group of donors, the Foundation of San Marino Community Church is delighted to announce the formation of a new fund honoring Jeff and Lynn O’Grady’s ministry at San Marino Community Church. The Jeff and Lynn O’Grady Theology and Culture Fund will receive funds to support the development of educational events and opportunities that center on the intersection of theology and culture by San Marino Community Church. Education is at the heart of the church's ministry, and Jeff and Lynn devoted their professional lives to building institutions of learning and faith. We are delighted to honor the O’Gradys by continuing their legacy at SMCC for generations to come and will make this new fund the focus of the 2021 Legacy Campaign.

As is customary for retiring pastors, the church family is invited to make a love gift to Rev. Jeff O’Grady in advance of his retirement celebration on Sunday, April 25. A minimum desired amount has been established, and the Foundation of SMCC is receiving gifts toward that goal. There are two ways for you to contribute to this gift of appreciation for Jeff and Lynn’s faithful years of ministry at SMCC:

Option 1: Submit a contribution to the church office labeled “Attention Skip Ober Miller/O’Grady Love Gift.” Checks should be made out directly to "Rev. Jeff O’Grady." Please note that these will not be received and deposited by the O’Gradys until the end of April. These gifts will be tax free for the O’Gradys, but not tax-deductible for the donor.

Option 2: To donate anonymously, please do so through The Foundation of SMCC. Checks can be made payable to “The Foundation of SMCC” with “O’Grady Love Gift” in the memo line. These contributions are tax-deductible for the donor, but are a taxable gift for Rev. O’Grady. Following all submissions, The Foundation will ensure the minimum desired amount for the Love Gift is met.
