Meet our ELDERS

Ruling elders are called to ministry in partnership with teaching elders/pastors. Within this calling, ruling elders have responsibilities in several areas of the life of the church including exercise in leadership, governance, spiritual discernment, and discipline. They are elected in the fall by the congregation at a Special Meeting of the Congregation in the fall to serve a three-year term beginning in January. They receive training as new officers and ongoing training through the course of their terms. Each elder serves on one or more Session committee/team. Currently these committees include Buildings & Grounds Committee, Congregational Development Team (CDT), Education and Spiritual Development (ESD), Finance, Mission/Outreach Team, Personnel, and Worship.
