History & Purpose

The Foundation of SMCC, established in 1958, creates current and future giving opportunities for members of the Church who give back, in response to God's blessings. The Foundation is an active steward of the Church's endowment, a collection of pooled and individual funds which donors have asked the Foundation to hold and invest in perpetuity. Disbursements from the endowment are distributed on an annual basis and support every aspect of the Church's ministries: children, student and adult ministries; worship and music ministries; mission grants; and care of the sanctuary, manse and physical facility. The Cornerstone Society recognizes those who have included the Foundation or San Marino Church in their estate plans. The Foundation of SMCC's Federal EIN # is 20-8917863.

Legacy Campaign

The Foundation of San Marino Community Church launched Legacy Choices for All, our annual Legacy Campaign, raising funds to support endowments for Pastoral Salaries, Facilities Care and Christian Education. The Campaign has once again been blessed to receive a matching gift of up to $125,000 from an anonymous donor who has designated their gift toward Pastoral Salaries. As a result, every dollar you donate will have double the impact on The Foundation.
