Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.  (Matthew 28:19)

San Marino Community Church's mission partners extend the congregation's reach and impact locally and world-wide. Respond with generosity in service to others. See below the many opportunities to serve throughout the year. Contact Mission & Outreach or check the Family Ministries Calendar for upcoming events.

  • Ton of Food Campaign

    Sunday, April 8, 9:00 am

The day was drawing to a close, and the twelve came to him and said, “Send the crowd away, so that they may go into the surrounding villages and countryside, to lodge and get provisions; for we are here in a deserted place.” But Jesus said to them, “You give them something to eat.” – Luke 9:12 (NRSV)

When asked how to eradicate hunger from the world Mother Teresa responded with one word, “share.” It sounds so simple and actually it is. Sunday, April 8, San Marino Community Church’s Board of Deacons will share by sending a truck carrying a Ton of Food to the Food Bank at sister church Iglesia De la Comunidad. You can participate by picking up a grocery bag from the Information Center, the church office, Deacon table (or use your own). Fill it with nonperishable food items. Return it to the church office on or before Sunday, April 8th.

    Additional Tips!

    • Keep a Ton of Food bag in an area you must walk by every day

    • Write April 8 on your calendar as Ton of Food Day

    • Set an alert on your phone and computer that reminds you to bring your filled Ton of Food bag to church
