Gaining Emotional Well Being - TO BE RESCHEDULED AT A LATER DATE

Gaining Emotional Wellbeing and Interpersonal Connectedness

Led by Alan Hart, AMFT, who says “I have a deep commitment to healing and strengthening the bonds within peoples’ most significant relationships”.

• Why do we long for connection but isolate ourselves?

• Why are we sometimes feel lonely even in a crowd?

• Why are we often sad or angry without knowing why?

• How does my past drive my behaviors and thoughts today?

These are just a few of the questions many of us face with few tools or coping strategies with which to address them. Alan Hart will be sharing insights and practical tools on how developing a deeper awareness of oneself can promote the nurture of authentic and deepened relationships. Alan holds his Masters in Marriage & Family Therapy and a Masters in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary, and is an Associate Marriage & Family Therapist specializing in relationships, couples, and parenting."  (Presented by ASF - Wellness Team)

women

Monday Night Bible Study -  Though we are temporarily on hold we are still communicating and studying together.

Please contact Rev. Jan Cook.

Monday Bible Study is a group that is open to all women, led by Pastor Jan Cook. We welcome you to join us on Monday evenings for engaging discussion, prayer, lots of laughter, friendship and quite often decadent snacking! Childcare provided.

Though we are not physically meeting, we continue to explore the Book of HebrewsEugene Peterson (The Message Commentary) says, “…too much religion is a bad thing. We can’t get too much of God, can’t get too much faith and obedience, can’t get too much love and worship. But religion – the well-intentioned efforts we make to ‘get it all together’ for God can get in the way of what God is doing for us. That’s when it’s time to read and pray our way through the sermon we call Hebrews, written for ‘too religious’ Christians.”
