BE PART OF THE STORY

Many of our friends and members have shared his or her story with the congregation. Please take a moment to watch & listen. It is our hope that you will be blessed by these personal messages and that they will encourage you to think about how San Marino Community Church plays an important part in YOUR STORY . . .

vision

Our vision is to live Christ’s Great Commandment – to love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to love our neighbor as ourselves.

We hope that our vision becomes your vision and that you come to know the joy of living in community.

MISSION

Trusting in God’s grace revealed in Jesus Christ, we seek to DISCOVER a living faith, EXPERIENCE the joys and demands of the Gospel, REJOICE with gratitude in worship, and RESPOND with generosity in service to others. We do all of this empowered by the Holy Spirit, reflecting the Kingdom of Heaven to the community and the world.

A Letter from our pastor, Jeff O'Grady

San Marino Community Church welcomes individuals and families who seek a better connection with what God is doing in their lives and in the world. Christian faith is a shared experience, as well as a personal one. We rely upon each other to deepen our experience, sharpen our focus, and extend the impact of our service. Our vision is to live Christ’s Great Commandment, “To love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to love our neighbor as ourselves.”

San Marino Community Church is becoming a multi-generational, multi-cultural community of the future. Authentic continuity with the past coupled with joyful worship and generous service in the present will set an example for future generations to be able to “sing a new song unto the Lord.” We worship in the tradition of the Presbyterian Church U.S.A. with both heart and mind. Our community of 1,100 members plus many visitors and friends join together in worship, learning, and service. There are three distinct worship experiences offered each Sunday so everyone in the family can find the worship experience that best suits their style.

You will find helpful information about the many ministries of the church on this website. Our Mission Statement will introduce you to the congregation’s commitments and convictions. If you want to experience vibrant faith in Jesus Christ with others with whom you can share life, faith, worship and service, consider this your invitation to visit the San Marino Community Church and become part of the family at SMCC.

Faithfully yours,

Rev. Jeffrey V. O’Grady
