October - April, Sundays at 10:30 am, Westminster Hall

Our confirmation class is primarily designed for high school freshman, but older students are more than welcome to join! We explore Christianity, and address challenging questions like: who is God? What is the Church? Where did the Church come from?  How do we live a life of purpose?

Spending time together at these weekly sessions helps to build relationships and give students the tools they need to grow into adulthood. They participate in a weekend retreat, sit in on a Pastor Panel, go on a field trip, and at the end of the class create their Statement of Faith.

Confirmation is the process of a student becoming a member of the church,  though membership is not required, we ask that each student seriously considers taking the next step in joining their community of faith.  Confirmands will be presented to the congregation at the end of class, when they can celebrate their full membership into the church.

Contact Sophia Alecci to participate in the 2017-2018 Confirmation Class

We plan local, regional, and international trips every year.  Over 2017 Spring Break, students flew to Seattle to serve the homeless community in King County. They assisted those in need, experiencing their faith in action. This a great opportunity for students to travel outside their comfort zone, and see the church in action.  Please stay in touch with Student Ministries for updates. Adult leaders and parents are invited to participate.
