ADULT MINISTRIES

Do you have a place to grow closer to God and others?  At SMCC we care deeply about your spiritual health and we will help you experience life more fully.

SMALL GROUP, Adult Ed. & FELLOWSHIP

Tuesday Bible Study: Luke, Begins Feb. 6

10:00 am, Church Lounge, or 6:00 pm, Fellowship Hall

You're invited to explore scripture with us as we begin a new study on the Gospel of Luke.  A gentile, Luke wrote about 30% of the New Testament with Luke and Acts. All the other New Testament authors were Jewish.  One of the questions we want to answer in our study is: How does Luke's Gospel affect our living today? Attend either weekly class on Tuesdays. THE REFORMATION PART II: A LECTURE SERIES

SUNDAYS, FEBRUARY 11 - MARCH 25, 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM

Join us for an extraordinary series of lectures about the Reformation. This past fall we learned about Martin Luther, a monk in Wittenberg, Germany, who posted his 95 theses on a church door. It started a whole new way of considering Christianity and the individual.  As new ideas sprouted across Europe, immigrants were also spreading the word about a new approach to Christianity in the "New World".  San Marino Community Church is fortunate to have access to some of the foremost experts in the field who will speak on the following Sundays:

• February 11th, The Reformation in Scotland

• February 18th, A City Upon a Hill, Puritans and the Wonders of the Invisible World

• February 25th, Semper Reformanda: Confessions and Reformation

• March 4th, Reformation Crosses the Atlantic to America

• March 11th, World Communion of Reformed Churches

• March 18th, Global Christianity and the Reformation

• March 25th, What We Believe in an Age of Unbelief
